Annual General Meeting of SEAP was held on 30th July 2009 at The Pride Hotel, Pune. Please find below minutes of AGM : Welcome of Chief Guest Shri Rajendra Dahale DCP ((EOW & Cyber Cell) Crime Presidents update – Abhijit Atre, President SEAP presented the major events and activities of SEAP with special mention of the IFRS Course conducted, cyber genius contest and launch of the new SEAP website SEAP - Presentation of Accounts & its Approval for Financial Year 2008-09 by Manuel Pardhe. The same was accepted and passed SEAP - Election of new office bearers of Executive Committee for the year 2009-10 was conducted. The AGM also approved continuation of the Sudhir Paithankar as Auditor for 2009-10. Presentation by Advocate Vaishali Bhagwat on Corporate Rights , Liability and Responsibility under Cyber Laws Presentation by Ms. Dharmi Magdani of Bahrain Economic Development Board Address by Chief Guest - Shri Rajendra Dahale A vote of thanks was presented by C.Manivannan , Secretary SEAP. SEAP is hosting its Annual General Meeting on 30th JULY (Thursday) .
As part of this AGM, ELECTIONS of the Members of the Executive Committee (EC) for 2009-2010 will be held for the following posts: Please send in your nominations
1. President - 1 post
2. Vice President - 1 post
3. Secretary - 1 post
4. Treasurer - 1 post
5. EC Members – 7 posts
The Procedure and the Rules of the election will be as follows:
Electoral Role and Election Process:
- Only those Member Companies who have renewed their membership OR taken a new Membership for the F. Y. 2009-10 will be eligible to participate in the Election process i.e. to nominate Representatives to the EC and to vote in the event of more than one candidate remains in the field for any post.
- Each member company would be entitled to nominate only ONE person from their company to ANY post in the EC and would be entitled to cast only one vote for each contested post.
- Wherever the CEO of the Member Company has signed the form, the designated nominee would be entitled to vote. In absence of the designated nominee any ONE person present from that Member Company would be permitted to vote.
- In case NO nominations are received for any particular post till the AGM, the nominations would be accepted in the AGM itself. In case no nominations are received for any particular post/s even in the AGM, the elected representatives would co-opt any person from the Member Companies to fill in the vacancy/ies.
- I have attached a Word file to this message, containing a format of the NOMINATION FORM for the Election to the SEAP Executive Committee, 2009-10
- I would request you to please send your nominations for the election in this NOMINATION FORM only. The duly filled in Nomination Form should be signed and a scanned copy mailed to the secretary on or before 20th July 2009.
- Please ensure that it is finally endorsed by the LOCAL CEO / Center Head / Head of Pune operations of the person nominated.

- In case we do not receive adequate nominations prior to the Annual General Meeting planned in June, then the Election will be conducted in that meeting itself.
- All the same, the present EC looks forward to receiving a large number of Nominations.
